Auto Electrician

Job Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of new wiring systems, electrical components such as lights and gauges, and routine maintenance on batteries, alternators, and starter motors.
• Diagnostics and repair of electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical diagrams.
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues including those related to engine ECM, lighting, and other vehicle-specific systems.
• Adhering to health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work performed.

• Vocational diploma or certification in Auto Electrical or related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years proven experience as an auto electrician, with specialization in industrial or heavy equipment (aircraft refueling vehicles preferred).

• Strong attention to detail.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to work in a team, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced knowledge of modern electrical systems in vehicles and heavy machinery.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical issues.
