Position Title: Cold Storage Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team and support the operation of advanced cold storage systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair complex refrigeration systems, including CO₂-based units, to minimise downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks on cold storage equipment to detect and address potential issues before they lead to system failures.
Installation: Install new refrigeration systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, safety guidelines, and operational efficiency standards.
Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and adjust temperature and humidity levels in storage environments to meet food safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse personnel to implement energy-efficient storage practices and improve overall system performance.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on cold storage applications.
Proficiency in working with CO₂ refrigeration systems is highly preferred.
Strong problem‑solving skills and technical knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends
, and on‑call shifts, to respond to emergency service needs.Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
