Position Summary
The Finishing Carpenter is responsible for the installation, adjustment, finishing, and quality control of high‑end doors, wardrobes, kitchens and bespoke joinery products at client sites. The role requires excellent carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver installations to the highest quality standards while maintaining a professional client‑facing attitude.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Assembly
:
Install doors, door frames, ironmongery, wardrobes, kitchens, cabinetry, wall panels, and bespoke joinery items. Read and interpret technical drawings, installation details, and site instructions. Assemble and fit joinery products accurately and efficiently. Ensure all installations are completed according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements. - Finishing and Quality Control
:
Perform final adjustments to doors, hinges, drawers, sliding systems, and cabinet hardware. Ensure all finishes, alignments, gaps, and tolerances meet company quality standards. Inspect completed work and rectify defects prior to project handover. Protect installed products from damage during and after installation. - Site Operations
:
Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, designers, and other trades on site. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment. Report installation issues, site constraints, and material shortages promptly. Follow project schedules and complete installations within agreed timelines. - Health & Safety
:
Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures. Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly. Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on site. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a finishing carpenter or joinery installer.
- Proven experience installing high‑end doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and bespoke joinery.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, hardware installation, and finishing standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail; strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Professional appearance and customer‑focused attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Technical certification in Carpentry, Joinery, or a related trade.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Experience working with luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
