Site HVAC Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HVAC System Supervisor to lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems on site. Responsibilities include oversight of furnace, air handler, and chilled water components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and local regulations.

• Supervise and carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ductwork, and chilled water networks.
• Implement chilled water systems, managing piping layouts, valves, strainers, pump sets, and associated control systems in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Read, interpret, and review HVAC shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and coordination layouts to ensure site suitability and accuracy.
• Oversee installation and testing of BTU meters, ensuring correct alignment, flanged threaded connections, and integration with control or BMS systems.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate approvals and meet technical standards.
• Prepare and submit Method Statements, ITPs and Risk Assessments for HVAC installation, testing, and maintenance works.
• Conduct routine site inspections and functional testing, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local authority regulations.
• Identify and rectify faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily progress reports, service test records, and as‑built drawings.
• Promote and enforce health and safety practices, ensuring all activities meet project HSE requirements and industry best practices.
• Pre‑arrange and prepare all required site materials for smooth execution of work.
• Coordinate with clients before the workday and manage the site independently.
• Report daily site activities via the company’s Whats App group and email.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE in HVAC installation and commissioning.
• Flexible working hours; ability to work night shifts when required.
• English communication required; preference for candidates who know Malayalam & Hindi.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and professional email communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
