VRF & DX Service Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced VRF Service Technician to join our team. This is a service and repair assignment, not an installation project. Your main focus will be diagnosing and restoring VRF and DX systems when they experience faults or breakdowns.

• Respond to urgent service calls and bring VRF and DX systems back online.
• Perform independent testing and commissioning of VRF systems.
• Troubleshoot and determine why a system is failing or underperforming.
• Use schematic wiring diagrams to locate and fix electrical issues.
• Plug in laptop or tablet and use manufacturer software to check system data and parameters.
• Explain the issue and planned solution to the client in clear, simple terms.
• Fill out service reports after completing a job.

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing VRF systems.
• At least 3–4 years of total experience servicing air conditioning systems.
• Ability to travel to a job site alone, address the problem, and make decisions without constant supervision.
• Comfortable using laptops, tablets, or smartphones for diagnostic software and report creation.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair expertise.
• Familiarity with VRF software.
