Responsibilities
- Craft high‑quality furniture pieces tailored to specific client requirements ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize advanced woodworking techniques including joinery, laminating, and veneering to create durable furniture structures.
- Interpret blueprints and design specifications accurately to translate client visions into tangible products.
- Select and source appropriate materials considering factors such as durability, cost, and environmental impact.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in furniture carpentry, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, drills, and sanders, with a focus on safety.
- Strong understanding of different types of wood and materials, and their appropriate applications in furniture making.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or furniture design is preferred.
