Location: Hybrid – Remote Monday/Friday, In-Office Tuesday–Thursday | Dublin, CA

Salary: Starting at $70,500

Sign-On Bonus: Available after 180 days of completed hours

Support Retail Projects at Scale

We’re looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to support high-volume new store, remodel, and refresh projects across a national retail footprint.

In this role, you’ll use AutoCAD to translate store surveys, established prototypes, fixture requirements, and project-specific information into accurate, execution-ready floor plans. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure plans are accurate, buildable, and ready for successful field execution.

What You’ll Do

• Create fixture layouts and store plans in AutoCAD using established prototypes, templates, and planning standards
• Review store surveys and project data to develop accurate, store-specific layouts
• Update floor plans based on project scope, business initiatives, and site-specific conditions
• Partner with Store Operations, Construction, and Field teams to ensure plans are executable and aligned with project requirements
• Maintain organized project files and ensure drawings reflect the latest approved updates
• Identify layout or data inconsistencies and help resolve issues before field execution
• Participate in plan reviews and efficiently incorporate revisions
• Conduct occasional field reviews to validate plan accuracy or gather additional information

What You Bring

• Education, training, or professional experience in Architecture, Drafting, Construction Technology, Store Planning, or a related field
• Experience using AutoCAD to produce floor plans or technical drawings in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance speed with accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with project and fixture data
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within established planning standards and processes

Bonus Points

• Experience with retail store planning, space planning, construction, or store operations
• Experience creating fixture layouts or merchandising plans
• Familiarity with ADA requirements, seismic considerations, or permitting constraints
• Experience supporting large-scale rollout programs, remodels, or refresh initiatives

Because AutoCAD is an important part of this role, candidates will complete a practical skills assessment during the interview process.
