Pay Rate
$16.50/hr - $19.90/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $29.70/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
Store Culture & Excellence- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long‑term students by creating a great experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing the knowledge parents have.
- Communicate with students and/or parents about each student’s progress.
- Share students’ and parents’ goals and progress frequently.
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in, such as vocals.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.
