Key responsibilities:
Define customer needs and requirements
Designing and building electrical and or electromechanical systems or sub systems
Lead engineering projects and deliver them on time
Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and customers locally and internationally
Integrate quality process to project tasks and deliverables
Collaborate with team on project proposal, budgeting and scheduling
Work on strict timelines to deliver quality product to customer
Requirements and skills:
Analog, Digital, and Mixed signal Hardware Design
Linear and switched mode power supply design and concepts
Hardware design using FPGA, microcontroller and microprocessors
Working experience with different types of DC motors, feedbacks and motion control systems designs
Understanding of serial and parallel communication protocols and interfaces for hardware circuits
Component selection and evaluation
Product tear down and market research expertise
Knowledge in wireless communication and ethernet interfaces
Handson experience in schematic circuit design using software tools
Knowledge in developing PCB and design
Good to have experience using Xpedition PCB design tools
Stress, derating, power budgeting and reliability calculations
Functional, module and integration testing
Experience working in medical PDLC and configuration management for managing associated documentation (BOMs, schematics, drawings etc.)
Good knowledge in medical standards and compliances
Good knowledge in EMI-EMC designs and mitigation methods
Knowledge in testing for pre-compliance and qualification tests from compliance laboratories
Knowledge and use of analog and digital electronic testing tools and methods
Experience working on projects complying to IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards
Good expertise in documentation with O365 tools
Good behavioural and communication skills with positive attitude for new and challenging environments.
