Health Services & Benefit Administrators, Inc. (HS&BA), established in 1989, is a Plan Administrator for Taft-Hartley Trust Funds, providing specialized services to ensure effective benefit plan management and design. We serve Trustees of Taft-Hartley plans, offering administration services for Health and Welfare Funds, Defined Benefit and Contribution Funds, Flexible Spending Accounts, and more. With a team that has grown from 60 to 160 employees, we strive to build longstanding relationships with clients through high-quality service and deep industry expertise.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fund Manager, based in Dublin, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely on designated days. The Fund Manager will oversee the effective management of investment portfolios, analyze market trends, and develop optimal investment strategies. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, preparing financial reports, advising stakeholders on investment decisions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Fund Manager will also liaise with Trustees and other stakeholders to align investment activities with each client’s objectives.

Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and market trends
  • Experience with Investments and Finance, particularly in portfolio analysis and financial planning
  • Proficiency in Investment Management, including developing and executing investment strategies
  • Knowledge of Equities and their role in diverse investment portfolios
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate recommendations to stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or CFA designation are a plus
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations within the financial and benefits industries
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting, balancing in-office and remote requirements efficiently
