GL Accountant

Are you an organized and detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for financial accuracy? We're looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dublin. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations, from managing the month-end close process to reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports. You'll work closely with auditors, oversee payroll tax compliance, and help maintain the integrity of our general ledger accounts.

• Prepare monthly closing entries for all entities.
• Review GL accounts periodically to ensure accuracy.
• Perform monthly overhead reviews, including variance analysis.

• Reconcile monthly bank statements for multiple operating entities.
• Post incoming wire transfers.
• Review daily online bank activity and clear valid exceptions.

• Transmit and post weekly payroll taxes.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and other miscellaneous returns.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Print financial statements.

• Work with auditors to generate our audited financial statements.

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel skills. Willing to learn new programs and procedures.
• Ability to multitask among our different entities, each of which has a separate set of records.
• Able to work effectively in an independent setting and follow up regarding questions, issues, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with personnel of all levels.
• Required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate financial data.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and consistent, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Total compensation package includes the following:

• Pay (base salary) from $85,000/year (depending on qualifications)
