Role Overview
The Health Plan Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the appropriate collateral is received and determining the appropriate medical rate is assigned for a prospect. Analysts use specialized tools developed by third‑party industry experts and Tri Net's carrier partners to evaluate submitted documents and census information to determine the correct medical pricing for prospects based on the actual risk they present.
Responsibilities- Work independently to conduct prospect census review, including medical plans and rates, to determine the appropriate medical price based on the presented risk of the prospect.
- Evaluate required documents using various tools, including a medical pricing tool.
- Communicate with Sales colleagues.
- Assist with reviewing and evaluating tools and resources used by Tri Net, and make suggestions for improvements to these tools and to the Health Plan Pricing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Typically 2+ years required.
- Experience in insurance pricing preferred.
- Ability to interpret and analyze detailed medical plans and related documents.
- Ability to solve problems using mathematical skills.
- Possess independent thinking skills and complete projects with minimal guidance.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel.
- Ability to communicate with Sales personnel regarding Health Plan Pricing guidelines and requirements.

CompensationSalary range: $69,300.00 to $, based on skills, education, work location, and experience. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Tri Net’s corporate bonus plan.
