Basic functions include working with constituents, district organizations, local governments, and state agencies. Duties involve providing top-notch constituent services, communicating the Senator's position on issues affecting the district, and attending events and meetings with the Senator, or on the Senator's behalf, as assigned.
Desirable skills and knowledge include prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, team participation, attention to detail, critical thinking, clear communication, discretion, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Education and qualifications require a Bachelor's degree, legislative experience preferred, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and PCs, a current driver's license, and automobile liability insurance.

This position is located in Dublin, CA and requires in person attendance. The Senate's core business hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may require after hours, holiday, or weekend work.
