Senior Data Engineer

Swoon is partnering with a leading energy organization to hire a Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise data initiatives focused on data engineering, modeling, analytics, and scalable data solutions.

This role is ideal for an experienced data professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building modern data ecosystems, and collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver impactful analytics solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop infrastructure that enables access to large-scale data.
• Build and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and data models.
• Support enterprise analytics initiatives using modern data platforms.
• Work with technologies including Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Spark, Palantir Foundry, and other data ecosystems.
• Deploy machine learning algorithms into production environments.
• Analyze complex data problems and recommend scalable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience working with data engineering or ETL ecosystems.
• Experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Understanding of machine learning deployment processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
