GET TO KNOW US

Brother Hubbard is defined by a philosophy of "generous hospitality," where the goal is to provide more than just a meal, but a warm, inclusive community experience.

As a business, they are committed to culinary creativity—with the best of local Irish produce—while maintaining a deep focus on sustainability and integrity.

As an employer, these values translate into a supportive and professional "people-first" culture. We prioritize building a diverse, close-knit team where hard work is met with genuine care, clear communication, and opportunities for growth, fostering an environment where team members feel as valued and nourished as the customers we serve.

KNOW

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our business to help us grow and strengthen our offering at Arnotts.

We are looking for someone who can lead a small team to ensure we are hitting the high standards we set for ourselves as regards to service and organisation.

We view this very much as a collaborative role whereby we will work with our new leader to develop new concepts and new approaches for Brother Hubbard Arnotts to drive the business and its efficiency.

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to keep the team smiling through the Saturday rush
  • Be a natural leader who stays calm when the pressure is on. You have a "no task too small" attitude and a genuine passion for great service (and even better coffee)
  • Be great at supporting your team and leading by example

Because it’s a small business, trust is everything. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in opening/closing procedures and cash handling
  • Strong communication skill
  • The ability to manage breaks and floor rotations efficiently during peak hours

We are Curators: Our unique range of product and services are key to the sense of excitement that Brown Thomas Arnotts is renowned for, whether for a special day or every day, things that make our customer’s lives better.
