Position Summary

This is a second shift opportunity for a Production Supervisor in our manufacturing plant. The role oversees and optimizes production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

Shift Details

Hours are a 10‑hour shift from 4:30pm to 3am Monday‑Thursday with overtime as needed, on Fridays and Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards and production schedules.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process enhancements.
  • Maintain quality control, ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards at all stages of production; enforce quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and deviations.
  • Allocate resources—including labor, equipment, and materials—to achieve production targets and coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely input availability.
  • Uphold workplace safety by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a safety‑conscious culture.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, maintenance logs, and incidents; generate relevant reports for management.
  • Identify training needs, facilitate training programs, and mentor team members to promote career growth.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies, leading implementation efforts to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • In‑depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
