Recreation Assistant NF

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service by greeting and answering questions for patrons. Assist with facility usage and general inquiries, processing rental transaction on POS/Rec Trac systems.
• Assists in the setup, execution, and breakdown of recreation programs and special events. Ensuring activities run smoothly and delivers a positive patron experience.
• Issues, tracks, and maintains recreational equipment and rental items. Monitors facility spaces for cleanliness, safety, and proper usage; reports maintenance concerns as needed.
• Maintains accountability of merchandise, rental inventory, and supplies. Assists with restocking, inventory counts, and tracking usage. Follows internal controls for cash handling, resale items, and equipment checkout.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Direct deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
• Hours of operation are Monday–Saturday 1100‑2000, Sunday 1100‑1700. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on mission needs and in support of special events.
