• Responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving.
• Operate machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift in a safe and proper manner.
• Maximize sales potential through effective receiving procedures for products entering the store.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Work effectively within a fast‑paced environment.

• At least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and reliable; able to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including weekends and holidays.
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers or Buyer(s) to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications; examine contents, compare with records, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Attend all applicable trainings and be able to use or be certified in the use of appropriate equipment needed for the store or facility; comply with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Work independently with excellent interpersonal skills; effectively communicate with team members, store leadership, and service vendors.
• Capable of moving/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5” to 56”, over a distance of up to 30 feet and for up to 30 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Must use a pallet jack to horizontally transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs., requiring a force of up to 50 lbs., over a distance of up to 150 feet and for up to 40 hours.
• Vision required for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
• Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); multitask; understand proper retail receiving; basic computer knowledge.
• Execute other duties as needed.

Pay range The pay range for this position is $17.70 - $23.88 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
