Overview
Salary: $17.50 – $20.00 hourly
Position Summary:
The Logistics Associate will report to the Operations Manager and provide exceptional customer service while performing core logistics and merchandising duties.
- Engage with every customer, offering world‑class service and building lasting relationships.
- Accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring all items are in good condition.
- Organize and label received merchandise in the stockroom, storing items efficiently for easy restocking according to the Logistics Game Plan.
- Unbox, tag, and display merchandise on the sales floor according to merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized back‑of‑house and sales floor area.
- Execute all price changes and merchandising bulletins.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare eCommerce orders for shipping, ensuring items are securely packaged and labeled for timely delivery.
- Handle customer returns for online orders by inspecting returned items, processing refunds or exchanges, and updating inventory systems accordingly.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
- Stay up to date on merchandising promotions and marketing events to maintain a strong presence throughout the promotion lifecycle.
- Champion product and service offerings, informing, educating, and promoting them to customers.
- Provide consistent feedback to the Operations Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
- Strong listening, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in retail fulfillment, replenishment, stocking, merchandising, distribution, or similar roles.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, move throughout a store, and lift a 30‑lb box overhead.
