Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Planning, automation, administration, and support of various Dev Ops tools.

Administer Message Queue objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Process Definitions, Clusters, and Name Lists; test and deploy solutions.

Provide real‑time problem determination support for all dependent business applications.

Analyze dumps, traces, and logs to determine root causes of specific problems.

Interact with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements/specifications and evaluate technical feasibility.

Create technical responses and design solutions for feature enhancements.

Prepare unit test cases and integrated tests using advanced automation frameworks.

Perform performance testing, collate results, and tune the application.

Maintain automation codebase in a version control system.

Document automated testing, including Test Plans and Test Summary Reports.

Execute automated test scripts and present results to the team.

Analyze broken test cases, diagnose and repair them to working order.

Diagnose and repair simple bugs within production code.

Provide technical leadership and consultation regarding best practices, procedures, and techniques.

Write and maintain scripts for configuration of automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery deployments.

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), CIS, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Test Lead, Software Tester, QA Engineer, or a related role.

Willingness to travel and relocate to various client sites throughout the USA.
