General Tire and Lube Technician

Auto Max is a leading automotive service provider looking for a skilled and dedicated General Tire and Lube Technician. The role involves maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Schedule:

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation:
Starting at $16 per hour plus commission based on experience.

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answer inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.

• Must be over the age of 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a tire and lube technician or similar role preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
