As an Electrical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer, you will lead and execute the commissioning phase for electrical systems—LV/HV, UPS, generators, power distribution—in state-of-the-art data centre facilities in Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and execute electrical commissioning activities: FAT, SAT, functional testing, performance verification and hand-over.
Review electrical design drawings, verify installation compliance and coordinate with construction teams.
Manage test records, commissioning reports, documentation and hand-over packs.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, resolve issues and support dynamic optimisation.
Work across multidisciplinary teams and interface with client, QA/QC and operations stakeholders.
Travel to and work from site locations across Finland; travel and accommodation/rotation provided.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification:
Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation or Level 3 Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (UK) OR Level 6 Trade Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice (Ireland).Supported by City & Guilds Accredited High/Medium Voltage Senior Authorised Person Course (>20 kV) OR Safe Switching of HV Systems – Senior Authorised Person Course.
Proven commissioning experience in data centre or mission-critical electrical environments.
Strong technical competence in LV/HV systems, switch gear, UPS, generators.
Excellent documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to relocate/travel to Finland with rotation structure.
