Job Responsibilities
Under supervision, work with families and children as part of the district’s 10 county Early Intervention/Babies Can’t Wait program. Duties include coordinating services, providing educational support and acting as the single point of contact helping parents obtain support and assistance needed. Will be responsible for monitoring developmental progress of the child and assuring federal mandates and standards are being implemented appropriately.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Extensive travel throughout the district may be required.

The potential candidate may have a related bachelor or mater’s degree. Related is defined as “at least 20% of the credit hours of the transcript must address child development, disabilities, or family systems.” A copy of the candidate’s full transcript(s) must be submitted with the resume.
ORThe potential candidate may be a licensed Registered Nurse. A copy of the candidate’s Georgia nursing license must be forwarded with the resume.
