Summary
Thermal is responsible for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and monitoring of thermal processing equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards. This role involves operating primer, pouring, and debridge milling equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring all materials meet dimensional and quality requirements. The Machine Operator – Thermal is expected to follow established SOPs, maintain a strong focus on safety and quality, and support continuous production within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Sets up and operates primer machine, pouring machine, and debridge mill as required by production schedule.
- Inspects outgoing material and records dimensional checks on inspection sheets as mandated by inspection SOP.
- Performs any duties related to set‑up and operation of machinery, handling and inspection of material produced in the Thermal Process.
- Oversees inspection process to ensure quality checks are performed as required by any inspection SOP.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time.
- Job requires stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Must have good communication and organizational skills.
- Must have experience working with hand tools.
- Be vigilant about safety.
- Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.
The travel required for this position is 1%.

At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.53 to $20.93, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
