A growing automotive component manufacturer is seeking a Korean-English Bilingual SMT Production Controller to support the launch of a new automotive electronics manufacturing operation in Dublin, Georgia.

This is a critical position responsible for production scheduling, planning, ERP/MES coordination, inventory visibility, and communication between the U.S. manufacturing operation and corporate leadership in Korea.

Due to an aggressive production launch schedule, we are looking to move quickly and identify the right candidate immediately, with a target start date of September 18
.

Position Summary

The SMT Production Controller supports production planning, scheduling, ERP/MES coordination, and daily production control activities while serving as the primary communication link between the manufacturing facility and headquarters in Korea.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
  • Coordinate production priorities with MP&L, warehouse, and manufacturing teams
  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP), inventory levels, and customer delivery performance
  • Maintain accurate production transactions within ERP and MES systems
  • Prepare daily production reports, metrics, and KPI dashboards
  • Support new production launch and ramp-up activities
  • Communicate production status, concerns, and priorities with headquarters and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with inventory planning and production control processes to ensure on-time customer delivery
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field
  • ERP and/or MES system experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Korean-English bilingual proficiency is required due to frequent communication and collaboration with headquarters in Korea
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • SMT manufacturing experience
  • Experience supporting new manufacturing launches
  • Experience working within global manufacturing organizations
  • Understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination
Salary: $65,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience
