Salary Range: $120,000–$140,000

A professional services organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee general ledger, audit, and tax activities while managing day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role leads a small accounting team and ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Manage the general ledger and month‑end/year‑end close processes
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Oversee trust accounting and daily cash flow management
• Manage banking relationships and bank reconciliations
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate annual audits
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate filings with external advisors
• Supervise accounting staff, including payroll and accounts payable
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify and implement process and system improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior people management experience preferred
• Professional services experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, audits, and taxation
