Job Summary

Golden Reserve is looking for an experienced tax professional to build and lead our internal tax support and preparation team across the country. This is a player‑coach role that is 75% of the time spent on tax support and preparation and 25% of the time spent helping build out this new team and department. As the team grows, more time will be required for leadership and management.

Golden Reserve is a full‑service RIA and insurance firm that grew to 40 offices covering 9 states and is expanding its comprehensive retirement services, including tax planning and preparation of annual returns.

• Manage the tax preparation of annual returns and assist with ongoing real‑time tax support.
• Lead a multi‑location team to drive process while maintaining a growth culture with constant change.
• Build out the new tax support and preparation department, providing training and support.
• Participate in events and coordinate the development and expansion of the department.

• Certified Public Accountant.
• Five (5) years of tax preparation, accounting and tax planning experience.
• Excellent communication skills to manage and inspire both the team and clients.
• Leadership experience managing a multi‑location team and driving process improvement.
• Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to embrace accountability and ownership.

• Salary:$125,000–$150,000, based on experience.
