Description
Golden Reserve is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns for our clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state tax laws, and delivering a high standard of service that reflects our firm's commitment to client care.
Golden Reserve is a full-service RIA and insurance firm that has grown to 40+ offices across 9 states. As part of our comprehensive retirement services, clients receive tax planning direction regarding their qualified tax accounts and preparation of their annual tax returns. In this role you will manage the tax preparation of annual returns, assist with ongoing real-time tax support, participate in event participation and coordinate the development and expansion of this department.

- Five (5)+ years of tax preparation, accounting and tax planning experience
- Proficiency with tax preparation software (Drake, Ultra Tax, or similar)

- Management – you will be asked to lead a multi-location team to drive process while maintaining a growth culture with constant change

- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals.
- Review financial records, income statements, and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Identify tax credits, deductions, and strategies that benefit clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients to gather necessary information and explain outcomes.
- Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain organized and confidential client records.
- Collaborate with internal team members as needed.
