Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing the monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial reporting, and partnering with leadership on budgeting and forecasting activities. This is a highly visible position that works closely with Finance, FP&A, and Operations leadership to provide meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Partner closely with the FP&A team on annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership regarding trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support operational leaders by providing financial data and business analysis to improve performance and profitability.
- Assist in developing and improving accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Participate in system enhancements, process improvements, and special projects as the company grows.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff and contribute to building a scalable finance organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work cross-functionally with leaders across the organization.
