What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal HealthMarketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.
Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Job SummaryOur Kangaroo Nutritional Delivery business supports patients who receive enteral therapy across the care continuum in the US. The Product Marketing Manager, Nutritional Delivery is responsible executing our commercial marketing plan to achieve the budgeted growth objectives for the business, namely our enteral access products. Marketing tactics include price strategy execution, promotion in target channels, and empowering Sales to achieve regional business unit objectives through creative engagement and support.
ResponsibilitiesBecome an expert for all products within the Nutritional Delivery portfolio across the care continuum, including capital and disposables.
Understand the US enteral feeding market and the dynamics contributing to therapy selection and clinical outcomes. Seek to understand end customer clinical practice & patient needs.
Develop strong relationships to collaborate cross-functionally with partners including: US Commercial Marketing & Global Product Management, Specialty & Extended Care Sales, Marketing Communications Enablement, Customer Engagement, Sales Enablement, Sales Training, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, R&D, and External Agency Partners.
Support development and execution of the comprehensive business plan, inclusive of commercialization strategy.
Develop commercialization plans with committed ROI for training, tools, programs, or campaigns to add value to our current offering.
Create and launch commercial strategies and tactics, such as pricing to achieve business objectives and optimize product profitability, collateral development, content management, and tradeshow planning.
Engage with key opinion leaders, customers, and patient advocacy groups to build strong industry relationships with particular focus on trade shows and conference opportunities.
Ideate and execute on critical revenue driving projects and effectively communicate project progress.
Deliver regional forecasting to inform demand planning and global marketing.
Communicate promptly and consistently with the sales team to be the voice of the business, inform on all critical inventory needs, strategies, pricing changes.
Collaborate with Sales Training teams to cultivate content and deliver effective training sessions to sales classes
Demonstrate financial acumen, P&L management, and logical decision making in the general business environment.
Bachelor?s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
4-8 years of experience, preferredAbility to operate both independently and as a team player in execution of short and long term projects
Ability to problem solve and think creatively
Capable of multitasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments
Courage to own decision making and take the lead in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Contribute positively to team culture
Ability to travel 20-30% of the time domestically
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including:
Word, Excel, and Power Point
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $103,950
