Lead a Team & Make a Real Impact At Ability Matters, we support individuals with autism and other neurological disabilities in building independence, confidence, and meaningful lives in their communities. We are not a home health agency. We are a community inclusion organization. As a House Lead, you'll work alongside your team to ensure individuals receive exceptional support while coaching staff, solving problems in real time, and helping each day run smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring others while remaining actively involved in direct support.
- Lead Daily Support:
Provide direct support while helping ensure each shift runs smoothly and individuals receive high-quality, person-centered services. - Coach & Support Staff:
Train and mentor Direct Support Professionals while reinforcing best practices and positive team culture. - Ensure Quality Care:
Monitor documentation, home safety, and Individual Service Plan implementation. - Problem-Solve in Real Time:
Address daily challenges, respond to changing needs, and help maintain consistency across shifts. - Build Positive Relationships:
Communicate with families, coworkers, and teams while serving as a trusted resource within the home. - Model Excellence:
Lead through professionalism, accountability, compassion, and respectful interactions with individuals and teammates.

QualificationsHigh school diploma required (Bachelor's preferred) Two years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Leadership or scheduling experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Evening, weekend, and emergency availability
