Job Description Graduate Development Programme (GDP)Our Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is a structured learning environment providing graduates with the skills and experience they need to be a successful consultant. Over the two-year programme, you will receive market-leading training through our technical training academy as well as a range of soft‑skills and on‑the‑job learning.
The GDP is blended with external qualifications and professional accreditation including SCSI, APM, CIOB and ICE to ensure you become an industry‑leading professional. With everything logged on our online learning platform, a graduate development manager, central development team, line manager and buddy, you will have all the tools and support needed to excel and achieve your career goals.
The programme is designed to be:
- A platform to enhance knowledge and gain first‑hand experience
- A training schedule to support and capture your learning and development needs and achievements
- A learning tool document to track and report the development of your capabilities
Cost management is vital in delivering the best value to our clients and maximising their return on investment. You will support the commission manager by delivering a wide range of tasks to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
estimating and producing cost plans, drafting the procurement documentation, checking and analysing tenders, conducting cost checks and valuations, analysing the numbers for the final accounts and liaising with the client, contractors and designers. If you have completed or are completing a degree in quantity surveying this is the programme for you.
