As an Architecture Expert, you will:
- Investigate
architectural and premises safety incidents. - Analyze
documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand. - Write
clear, scientifically sound reports. - Provide expert testimony.
You will delve into the "why" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. It is extremely challenging work, but also an intellectually thrilling and rewarding experience. You will:

Dublin, OH (hybrid)
Requirements- Education: B.S. or higher in Architecture and an active state licensure in good standing.
- Certification:Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), or willing to become certified.
- Experience: 15+ years of post-degree experience, designing or working on buildings with a variety of Use Groups - Assembly, Business, Educational, Mercantile, Industrial, Institutional, Factory, and Residential, mixed-use; experience with code evaluation, specification writing and/or diagnosing building defects and design analysis; proven experience in construction, demonstrated through contract administration, construction management, design/build, and/or general contracting.
- Additional Experience a Plus:Property management & BIM experience a plus.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of building safety and construction technology.
- Skills: Excellent technical & analytical skills; strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability: Safely climb/navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. for inspection activities.
- Work Style: Approximately 20% travel for inspections; the remainder is focused on analysis and report drafting, working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior forensic experience is not required.We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.
You must have a clean background screen, a driver’s license, and the ability to drive.
