CAE Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Support CAE development activities for Auto Powertrains.
• Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis, thermal analysis, flow dynamics and 1D simulation utilizing CAE tools (GT-suite, Amesim, Matlab/Simulink, etc.).
• Interpret data, develop and report countermeasures for Powertrain performance, safety and efficiency.
• Optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
• Develop and optimize CAE methods for improving modeling and analysis efficiency.
• Communicate issues and to accomplish goals.
• Analyze and resolve problems with minimal level of guidance and direction.
• Utilize Excel to create and update project schedules.
• Travel to client sites.
• Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout U.S.; 5% domestic travel.
• Telecommuting option – employee must live in OH.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5 years experience or Master’s in Engineering with 3 years experience; 3 years experience with 1D CAE using GT-suite tool and 1 year experience with CAE tools such as Amesim, Matlab/Simulink, etc.
