JOB TITLE: Mechanical Design Engineer III

JOB DUTIES:
Design and develop products using CAD software. Perform concept and feasibility study for components/systems for automobiles. Benchmarking of competitive products. Preparing conceptual sketches of new products considering the relations between components, functional requirements, allocation of space and component geometry. Designing and developing automotive parts from initial concept through to full production. Creating detailed production drawings for manufacturing. Refining product design to meet quality, safety, regulatory, cost and other requirements.
Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Utilize the following skills:
- 2D & 3D Layout Design
- Wire Harness 3D assembly drawing
- Main Wire Harness Layout
- Instrument harness layout
