Controls Manager

As a Controls Manager in our Engineering & Maintenance department, you will be pivotal in managing and improving the controls and automation systems that underpin our vast IT infrastructure. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure operational excellence and efficiency across various automated systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and maintain our controls architecture, ensuring alignment with Amazon's high standards of scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems across AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure integration and deployment of robust control systems.
• Manage projects from design to execution, meeting timelines and adhering to budgets.
• Analyze system data to lead continuous improvements and optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to controls engineering staff.
• Develop and implement training programs for new systems and technologies.

Required Skills

• Expertise in control system architecture, including PLC and HMI.
• Strong project management skills.
