Payroll Tax Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Tax Consultant to support payroll tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and issue resolution across multiple jurisdictions. This role helps ensure accurate tax processing, resolves agency notices, and supports year‑end and audit requirements.

• Review and validate federal, state, and local payroll tax filings
• Perform quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations (941s, W‑2s, SUI, etc.)
• Research and resolve tax discrepancies, notices, and agency inquiries
• Maintain accurate payroll tax setup and assist with system updates
• Provide guidance on multi‑state taxation and compliance requirements

• 5+ years of payroll tax experience (multi‑state strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Experience with payroll systems like ADP, Workday, Ceridian, UKG, or Paylocity preferred
• CPP/FPC certification a plus
