Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, highly‑skilled, and experienced Permanent Tax Supervisor/Manager - CPA to join our team. The candidate will manage the tax department and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and experience with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), C‑Corporations, S‑Corporations, and Partnerships.

Salary: $90,000 - $170,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all tax operations including planning, compliance, and audit defense.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities and ensure compliance with the law.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for HNWI, ccorp, scorp, and partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and external auditors.
  • Provide advice on the tax impact of business decisions and potential acquisitions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax law and regulations and ensure company compliance.
  • Manage and mentor members of the tax team to ensure performance and development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice and to understand the tax impact of their decisions.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree in Taxation or related field preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a tax manager or tax supervisor role.
  • Extensive experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for HNWI, ccorp, scorp, and partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
