Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Income Tax Manager to join the Tax team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in corporate income tax with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and process improvement. The Income Tax Manager’s primary responsibility is to own and manage the corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting functions.
The role will cover direct income tax, including but not limited to:
Federal, State and Local Income Tax Compliance, International Tax Reporting, Income Tax Provision, Audit Defense, and Tax Planning.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own all aspects of income tax compliance, including the review of the consolidated U.S. federal corporate income tax return and related supporting work papers.
Review state and local income and franchise tax returns, including combined, unitary, and separate filings, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
Review international tax filings and information returns, including Forms 5471, 8865, and other required international disclosures.
Review quarterly estimated income tax payments, extension calculations, and related filings.
Manage and review the annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including current and deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and related disclosures.
Coordinate with external tax advisors on outsourced income tax compliance and provision work, reviewing deliverables and managing expectations to ensure deadlines are met.
Responsible for maintaining the Income Tax Calendar to ensure all compliance and reporting deadlines are tracked and met.
Review income tax related journal entries and account reconciliations and partner with Accounting during year-end close.
Manage income tax audits and examinations, including preparation and review of responses to information requests and notices from taxing authorities.
Monitor changes in federal, state, and international income tax laws and regulations and assess the impact on the business.
Identify and support income tax planning opportunities.
Develop and improve income tax compliance and provision processes, including documentation and use of technology, to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Provide guidance, training, and review of work performed by tax analysts or other tax team members, as applicable.
Required Skills:
Highly professional. Possess strong organizational and project management knowledge of income tax accounting concepts, such as valuation allowance and uncertain tax position analysis.
Proven track record of successfully managing both income tax compliance and provision functions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
Ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals in senior leadership positions across the organization.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
7+ years of income tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate tax department.
Experience managing both direct reports and external service providers.
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state income taxation and ASC 740.Experience reviewing consolidated corporate income tax returns.

Salary Range:$ - $This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
