Investigative Accounting Internship

August 2026 - December 2026 (Start and End dates are flexible.)

Both part‑time and full‑time internships are available. Part‑time internships require 20–29 hours per week, while full‑time internships require a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of up to 40 hours. This opportunity is fully onsite.

Opportunity

During your internship, you will gain real‑world experience working with experienced professionals on investigative accounting engagements that involve evaluating physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses from catastrophes. Projects may include reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage evaluations. Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities.

Qualifications
  • Junior or senior level student
  • Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level. The candidate should also be open to training in other Windows‑based applications.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm! We seek self‑starters who demonstrate an interest in learning new skills and concepts and applying them for our clients.
Compensation

Base compensation typically ranges between $30–$32 per hour, depending on individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks.
