Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 end-user support for financial systems and resolve incoming tickets, routing them to Enterprise IT as required.
  • Support the design, modification, installation, and maintenance of accounting and financial systems to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Business Units, and Enterprise IT to analyze and recommend effective solutions, including process changes, system or reporting adjustments, and training.
  • Implement and test departmental Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance frameworks and financial reporting controls.
  • Act as a functional subject-matter expert and liaison on SAP projects and special assignments, articulating business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Support multiple SAP environments, including SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC.
  • Identify requirements and deliverables, recommend solution design, integration, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions.
  • Validate SAP FICO configurations and test finance processes related to accounts receivable, banking and cash management, and general ledger functions.
  • Monitor, reconcile, and troubleshoot interfaces and IDocs.
  • Assist finance and accounts receivable users with incoming payments, customer credit management, collections, cash management, and invoice/billing processes.
  • Oversee and monitor incoming bank/payment files, electronic bank statement processing, and the accounts receivable month-end close process.
  • Test, validate, and support finance users on systemic financial postings generated from SAP financial integration within the order-to-cash process.
  • Identify and resolve design issues, recommend process design changes, and fix root causes of recurring functional and system issues.
  • Create and enhance training materials for end-users and serve as a subject-matter expert in SAP finance processes focusing on accounts receivable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Preferred 6+ years’ experience with SAP FICO, testing, and configurations, focusing on accounts receivable, banking and cash management.
  • Preferred experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and integration with Finance/FI-CA/RAR.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated integrity, inclusiveness, innovative mindset, accountability, and mission-driven approach.
Expected Competencies

Demonstrates advanced knowledge designing, developing, and testing SAP functions associated with finance operations and enabling technology configuration. Expertise in SAP general ledger, accounts receivable, and banking & cash management. Displays a continuous improvement mindset and utilizes technology to challenge and automate financial processes. Supports implementation of new and completed SAP finance projects with customer service, training, internal control, data governance, and project management skills.

Completes work independently with general guidance on complex, large-scope projects.

Salary

Anticipated salary range: $105,100-$150,100. Bonus eligible:
