Key Responsibilities- Tax Compliance:
- Manage the income tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
- Review income tax computations and returns prepared by more junior staff.
- Prepare some income tax returns in the first year (complex returns).
- Liaise with Revenue in respect of client matters.
- Tax Consultancy:
- Perform research on tax technical issues and draft relevant tax advice to clients in relation to a broad range of matters, including:
- Tax residency planning.
- Estate/CAT tax matters including cross‑border issues.
- Restructuring: capital taxes such as retirement relief, business relief, entrepreneurs relief.
- ATI qualified with around 3 years PQE.
- Desire to develop strong tax technical knowledge across CAT, CGT and income tax, with broad knowledge across other tax heads.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and other service providers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
