The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the company's cash resources, forecasting liquidity needs, analyzing investment performance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role partners closely with leadership to provide financial insights, optimize cash management strategies, and enhance treasury operations through analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Treasury & Cash Management- Manage daily cash positions and oversee short-term liquidity investments.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support operational and strategic funding requirements.
- Monitor liquidity levels and recommend actions to optimize cash utilization and financial flexibility.
- Collaborate with the Controller to fund expenditures and execute internal cash transfers, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Ensure all cash transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Analyze the performance, liquidity, and risk profile of current investments and provide recommendations to optimize returns while maintaining appropriate liquidity levels.
- Monitor investment balances and cash yields, identifying opportunities to improve returns on excess cash while maintaining required liquidity levels.
- Calculate and prepare periodic distributions for operating entities, holding companies, and investment entities.
- Review supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of all distribution calculations.
- Prepare and present monthly cash position reports, liquidity analyses, and cash flow forecasts to leadership.
- Analyze financial and operational data and communicate actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Create, enhance, and automate treasury and financial reporting tools to improve efficiency and data visibility.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing banking partners and assist in evaluating and establishing new banking relationships.
- Support treasury initiatives related to banking services, credit facilities, cash management solutions, and investment products.
- Manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently while exercising sound judgment and professional discretion.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance, or a related role; or an active CPA designation with at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to evaluate complex financial information and develop practical recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information to leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Experience with commercial real estate financing.
- Experience with treasury management systems, banking platforms, or financial reporting tools.
- Experience developing automated reporting, forecasting models, dashboards, or process improvements.
