The Neuro Rehab Team Member is currently licensed to practice therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented multi-disciplinary rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with neurologic injuries. The rehabilitation team members report to the rehabilitation clinic manager as part of the Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services structure.
The Neuro Rehab Team Member works under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services and under direct supervision of their clinic manager. The Rehab Team Member evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of their profession in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to the clinic manager, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise and to other participants included in patient care activities.
Each Rehabilitation Team Member is first a part of a group effort to provide care within a continuous performance improvement environment, and secondly a distinct professional who provides specific contributions to the team approach. Team members assess patients and establish together plans of care; provide a wide variety of treatment techniques; provide education and support to families; and facilitate continuing care planning.
Team members evaluate quality of services and participate in outcomes management activities.
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with state laws and rules governing the practice of their profession.
- Work within a cross-disciplinary rehabilitation team in outpatient settings for patients with neurologic injuries.
- Assess patients and collaboratively establish plans of care with the team.
- Provide a wide variety of treatment techniques and modalities as part of patient care.
- Educate and support families and facilitate continuing care planning.
- Evaluate quality of services and participate in outcomes management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio.
- 0 years of relevant experience required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
