Overview
24 hours/week. 8 hours shifts per day is required, Current schedule is day shift, Mondays and Fridays in Dublin location, Thursdays in Westerville. Schedule is subject to change.
Job Description SummaryPerforms moderately complex administrative tasks including prior authorizations, drafting correspondence, and providing skilled interactions.
Essential Functions- Prepares correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials which may be moderately complex or confidential, sometimes requiring independent judgment.
- Submits prior authorizations for personal hearing healthcare equipment needs.
- Assists with diagnostic audiology evaluations (BOA, VRA, CPA).
- Troubleshoots and repairs hearing aids and cochlear implants for patients and families with walk-in needs.
- Supports the NCH Employee Transport screening program.
- Orders and coordinates disbursement of clinical supplies to support supply par levels.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Licensure RequirementAppropriate State Licensure within 180 days of hire, required.
Skills- Basic technology and database skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with audiologists, physicians, and clinical staff.
- Ability to handle multiple job functions simultaneously.
- Must have excellent organizational and accuracy skills.
One year of clerical experience in medical facility, preferred.
