Our interdisciplinary team delivers compassionate, patient-centered care in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings.## ## Position Summary Dublin Post Acute is seeking a dedicated
** Occupational Therapy Assistant
** to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a
** PRN (as-needed)
** basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will implement individualized treatment plans and assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting functional independence.##
Key Responsibilities
* Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
* Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately and promptly.
* Educate residents and family members on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and assistive equipment.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, and Social Services, to provide comprehensive patient care.## Qualifications
* Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of Ohio.
* Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
* Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), or rehabilitation setting preferred.
* Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
