About Navita Health

Navita Health is a growing, mission-driven behavioral health organization committed to transforming the recovery and mental health experience through compassionate care, clinical excellence, and innovative technology. We create new pathways to healing — blending human connection with tech-enabled services to make care accessible to everyone, without barriers.

We are expanding our Ohio clinical team and looking for a seasoned, licensed clinician who is equally energized by direct client care and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Clinical & Quality Operations is a dynamic, blended clinical leadership role for a master's-prepared clinician who thrives at the intersection of direct care, supervision, and quality systems. This is both a clinical quality and clinician position — meaning you will carry your own caseload while also supporting quality, supervision, and operational functions across multiple behavioral health service lines.

This role reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).

Your time is structured across three equally weighted areas:

  • BPS Assessments & 1-1 Individual Visits (Treatment Plan Updates) (~30%)
  • Peer Recovery, Assessors and TCM — Supervision and/or Quality & Client Experience (~30%)
  • IOP — Group Facilitation & Individual Outpatient Sessions (~30%)
  • Serve as a clinical Subject Matter Expert for updates, improvements and new service lines for our proprietary behavioral health EHR (Platform) (~10%)
What You'll DoAssessments & Treatment Plan Updates (~30%)
  • Conduct and co-sign biopsychosocial (BPS) diagnostic assessments and chemical health evaluations in accordance with ASAM criteria and Ohio Medicaid billing requirements
  • Review and approve CDCA and assessor-completed assessments; provide final clinical signature
  • Coordinate treatment plan updates (TPU) for clients across program levels of care
  • Conduct 90-day treatment plan renewals and support smooth transitions between assessment, IOP, peer, and TCM services
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and billable prior to submission
Peer Recovery & TCM — Supervision, Quality & Client Experience (~30%)
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to Peer Recovery Supporters, Licensed Assessors and Case Manager staff monthly, in compliance with Ohio licensure requirements (LPCC-S)
  • Be willing to complete Peer Recovery Supporter Supervision Training, if not already completed, within 30 days of onboarding.
  • Log all supervision activity in our proprietary EHR within 1 day of the Supervision.
  • Conduct scheduled client quality experience calls, texts, and emails — maintaining a monthly volume of client support
  • Conduct scheduled and random chart audits across peer and TCM documentation
  • Monitor Looker dashboard reports weekly; track quality indicators and service delivery targets
  • Serve as the primary clinical escalation point for reportable concerns (RC), risk reporting (RR), and scheduled interval checks (SIC)
  • Escalated Concerns:
Respond within 1 business day (average resolution: 1–3 business days)
  • Month-End Documentation:
Close all documentation within 1 business day of month end
  • Submit monthly quality summary reports to the CCO
IOP Operations — Group & Individual Services (~3%)
  • Facilitate IOP groups 3 days per week (minimum), Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
  • Provide individual therapy sessions for assigned IOP clients and OP clients on Thursdays and Fridays; additional days for OP individual sessions may also be needed.
  • Ensure all IOP documentation meets Ohio Medicaid billing standards and is completed within required time frames
  • Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare in collaboration with the Treatment Director and Care Coordinators
  • Report attendance trends, curriculum gaps, and clinical concerns to the Treatment Director
Clinical Strategy for Our Proprietary EHR Platform (~10%)
  • Serve as the clinical liaison and Subject Matter Expert for our EHR system, collaborating with product and technology teams on enhancements, new features, and service line…
