Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator with at least one year of medical administrative experience to join our growing team.
This role is essential to daily operations and serves as a central communication hub between therapists, patients, families, and physician offices. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and document verbal orders from physician offices
- Manage, process, and upload incoming referrals
- Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to physician offices
- Prepare, receive, and distribute faxes
- Create and format letters, memos, and other correspondence
- Upload signed documents and maintain accurate patient records
- Monitor and respond to emails, routing messages appropriately
- Maintain and update spreadsheets using Google Suite tools
Minimum 1 year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience required.
SkillsStrong organizational, clerical, and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
CommunicationProfessional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
TechnologyProficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) required.
