Retail Rx | OSU Outpatient Pharmacy Dublin

This position functions to coordinate all aspects of patients' pharmaceutical needs in OSUMC outpatient and retail areas.

• medication order approval and distribution
• assurance of appropriate dose, route, frequency and duration of therapy
• patient medication profile review for drug-drug interactions, duplication of therapy, drug allergy interactions and appropriate regimens
• patient counseling
• disease state management
• coordination of patients' pharmaceutical needs with physicians and nurses
• must be able to demonstrate medication dosing and identify pharmaceutical needs relative to the disease process and age
• must be able to effectively communicate with patients, other health care professionals, and insurance companies
• responsible for supervising technicians, undergraduate and graduate student teaching, and providing educational programs for hospital/clinic staff (physicians, nurses and pharmacy staff)

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist
• 0 years of relevant experience required
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
