Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and organized IT Asset & Support Specialist to join our IT Department in the Transportation/Logistics/Warehousing industry. This role will focus on developing, executing, and optimizing IT Asset strategies for a fast-growing elite team of smarties. The ideal candidate has a strong IT background, excellent technical and communication skills, and a passion for serving others in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Employee onboarding/offboarding – ensure everyone has the correct equipment and software access
- Tech Support and Troubleshooting - Act as the first point of contact for all employee technical inquiries via helpdesk tickets, phone, email, or in-person. Diagnoses and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems
- General IT Assistance - Support additional tasks such as software installations, updates, basic network maintenance, printer setup, and cybersecurity awareness guidance. Contribute to IT documentation, process improvements, and team initiatives to enhance overall service delivery.
- 1 to 3 years involved in IT
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Organized /Prioritization skills
- The ability to act, instead of reacting
- The ability to adapt, adjust and overcome
- CompTIA A+ Certified
- some kind of Microsoft 365 certifications
Preferred Experience s
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent years of work experience.
- Need to be able to travel to the various offices and locations around central Ohio
- Sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis.
- Will lift, push or pull up to 37 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- 20/40 vision in both eyes together, with or without correction, is required.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
